House History - Historic Heritage Declaration

The house was owned by a traditional family of Chascomús, and it was built more than 100 years ago. It could be checked that its construction was a consequence of the growth that the railway (1865 to 1890) brought to this sector of the city. Originally the house integrated a group with the other main house, and it had a carriage passage, stables and an attic for the storage of the grass,etc. Lately, it was subdivided resulting in the present surface.

It is located in a classical environment of Chascomús, with an important cobbled boulevard in the front, street lamps and old urban woodland, surrounded by historical houses, cobbled streets, which provide to it a unique warm.

It was included, due to its hereditary value, by means of the Municipal Decree No. 1469/07, within the rules of the Municipal Tourist Promotion.

The “Boutique Hotel” is located just two hundred meters away from the railway Station, very near to the commercial center of the city and 10 blocks away of the lagoon of Chascomús.
